Specifically designed and manufactured for the Education Sector

The base Renault vehicle features a 2.3 tdi engine and 6 speed manual transmission, meaning excellent performance combined with impressive fuel economy and low emissions. Electric wing mirrors and electric windows, C/D player and radio, remote central locking, height adjustable driver's seat are standard equipment. We also ensure our CanDrive Minibus range are fitted with heated rear windows as an upgrade completely FREE OF CHARGE. All making this a comfortable, safe and pleasing vehicle to drive.

The rear passenger saloon is glazed all round with kite marked safety glass and we include 2 vented/sliding windows as standard fitment at no additional cost

Rear saloon passenger travel is provided with M2 tested and certified seating, all seats fitted with a headrest and an "all age adjustable" 3 point seat belt. It is insulated, carpet lined and fitted with courtesy lighting throughout. The rear saloon floor is overlaid with a non slip covering.

2 of these seats are mounted on quick release fittings, so can be removed to allow occasional carriage of a wheelchair or to enable luggage space for sports kit, baggage etc.

This Minibus has approximately an additional 300kgs carrying capacity above our standard CanDrive Light 17 seat 3.5ton Minibus, so is more suitable for older age ranges of pupils.

Mention Minibus to anybody and it conjures up an image of a rather generic big white box on wheels with a dark drab grey interior.

We recognise the importance of individuality. A well designed and thought out School Minibus can be an excellent marketing tool for your establishment with the addition of sign writing or livery, but the opportunity to specify coloured seating, piping and seat belts perhaps replicating colours within your school logo or crest means that your pupils instantly know its "their" school bus. CanDrive Flexi is IVA tested where applicable, is provided with an IVA Certificate and has been designed and / or adapted to enable you to drive it on a car licence - conditions apply.

Our seat belt anchorage system has been pull tested in-vehicle with the equivalent of 1.5 tonnes of weight per seat and its effectiveness witnessed and signed off by VCA (Vehicle Certification Agency). This is the Executive Agency of the UK Department for Transport that approves all road-going vehicles for use in the UK, including your own car.

All weights, dimensions and signage on the Peugeot Boxer CanDrive Flexi are IVA compliant and conversions on new vehicles can, where applicable, be first registered as a minibus after inspection by DVSA (formerly VOSA).

We build minibuses to a variety of Type Approval regulations including but not limited to COIF (Certificate of Initial Fitness) and IVA.
