Minibus World's 'Name our range of Wheelchair Accessible Minibuses' Competition
CanDrive EasyOn Competition
Branding forms an integral part of any organisation or business. A brand should give instant recognition of the company behind it, its products and can even reflect its core values.
During 2014 Minibus World developed the CanDrive brand and approached the Community Transport Association to launch a competition in their publication for all Community Transport organisations in the UK to enter.
We asked their members to create a brand name for our range of CanDrive Wheelchair Accessible Minibuses. The first prize being £1,000 towards a two week all inclusive holiday and a runners up prize of £250.
The winning entry was EzyOn Minibuses which was eventually adapted to the CanDrive EasyOn Wheelchair Accessible Minibus. The winner was Tony D from Daventry Area Community Transport (DACT) who collected his prize in person at Minibus World's Head Office in Knypersley on Tuesday 8th March. Tony intends to put the £1,000 prize towards a holiday to celebrate his 40th wedding anniversary.
The runner up was EazyBus by Joanne P from Fenland Association of Community Transport (FACT) who has won £250. Joanne was delighted to be the runner up and thought that the new range of minibuses were going to be a huge success.
Following the competition Minibus World has continued to develop the range of CanDrive Minibuses that allow drivers who only have a car licence to drive a minibus up to 17 seats (conditions apply) and drive out of category. Car licence holders having received their licence after January 1997 cannot normally drive a minibus over 9 seats.
Our complete range of CanDrive minibuses include fixed and accessible minibuses for schools, charities, care and voluntary sectors.
• CanDrive Light which is currently the only 17 seat 3.5 ton minibus in the country that you CanDrive on a car licence.
• CanDrive Flexi which has added versatility for the occasional transport of wheelchair occupants or storage space for kit and improved payload carrying capacity.
• CanDrive Maxi which has been designed to be more suitable where passenger ages ranges are 16 yrs and over, with the added versatility for the occasional transport of wheelchair users and significantly improved payload carrying capacity.
