Introduction

Following on from our top 10 Minibus day trips in Staffordshire and ahead of the Easter Break, we decided to add Minibus Day Trips in Cheshire. Minibus World is based in north Staffordshire, Knypersley, so we have a good local knowledge of the area. Our customers come from all across the UK and our employees and drivers are familiar with the nearby counties.

If you have a 9-17 seat Minibus each one of these locations provides parking, but you may need to book or get there early!

Here’s 1-5 of our top 10…

Jodrell Bank

Probably the closest most of us will get to space, Jodrell Bank has been inspiring children and adults for 80 years! A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is a unique experience. The engineering behind the Telescopes and Space Dome is awe-inspiring, the exhibitions and demonstrations even more so. Nestled in the Cheshire countryside near to Alderley Edge and Holmes Chapel, just off the M6.

Chester Zoo

It’s an obvious choice but one that can’t be missed. One of the world’s leading zoo’s, Chester Zoo has an outstanding collection of wildlife and habitats. You name it they have it. Lion, Tiger, Elephant, Rhino, Chimp, Orangutan, Crocodile and more! There’s plenty of rest and refreshment areas and it’s a great day for everyone. But it does get very busy in peak season – so plan your trip wisely.

Cheshire Oaks

One of the original designer villages offering 140 stores and 60% savings off designer brands. From Adidas to Armani, Pandora to Polo, Cheshire Oaks is a shoppers dream. There’s plenty of places to enjoy a bite to eat, coffee or something stronger. Once again plan your day to make the most of it, be mindful of peak seasons and you’ll have a great time. Just off the M53.

Tatton Park

See how the other half used to live at stunning Tatton Park. An historic estate located in the heart of Cheshire and set within 1,000 acres of parkland, featuring a grand mansion and 50 acres of gardens. With wild Deer, picturesque walks, enchanting lakes and the majestic Mansion, Tatton Park will transport you to another era.

Chester

The walled city of Chester dates back nearly 2,000 years. It is the perfect place for a day trip or short stay, as there is so much to do. From a walk along the City Walls to a drink overlooking the River Dee, a visit to Chester Cathedral or taking in the Roman Amphitheatre. Chester is a vibrant city with a Racecourse within walking distance of the centre. Plus bars, restaurants, coffee shops and hotels all around. Probably best to park your Minibus at a Park & Ride.

And that concludes the first 5 of our Minibus day trips in Cheshire. Next you just need to select the ideal Minibus to travel in!
